KT와 경기도가 차세대 사물인터넷 기술을 활용해 ‘아이는 안전하고 부모는 안심하는’ 어린이집 환경을 만든다. KT와 경기도 경기도 성남시에 위치한 KT 분당사옥에서 ‘차세대 IoT 보육안전서비스 제공을 위한 업무협력’을 체결하고 ICT기술이 접목된 안전한 어린이집 환경 구축을 위해 협력한다고 밝혔다. 협력 내용에 따르면 경기도는 자체 기준에 따라 적합한 어린이집을 선정지원하고 KT는 경기도가 선정한 어린이집에 IoT보육안전서비스를 구축한 후 관련 시설 및 서비스의 운영유지보수를 담당한다. 사업이 시행되면 경기도에 거주하는 부모들은 아이가 착용한 웨어러블 기기를 통해 어린이집 등교길에 아이의 위치를 파악할 수 있고 등교 후에도 아이가 어린이집을 벗어나면 즉시 부모에게 메시지를 보내 이를 확인할 수 있다. 또한 수업 중에는 스마트폰과 IPTV 화면으로 어린이집 곳곳에 설치된 CCTV 영상을 실시간으로 확인할 수 있으며 이외에도 스마트교육을 위한 스마트칠판, 환경교육을 위한 시설 등을 구축해 보안안심 뿐 아니라 교육여견 개선에도 공동 협력할 계획이다. 유영민 기자 (atided@hellot.net).
